In a new interview with The Sun’s Dan Wootton, former One Direction warbler, Harry Styles, lauds Miley Cyrus for discussing her pansexuality – a term about sexual identity, not her attraction to the mythical half-goat shepherd god.
“Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive,” said Styles. “People doing stuff like that is great.”
Adding, “Everyone should just be who they want to be.”
When describing his own sexual preferences, Harry plays it slightly coy, saying, “I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself.”
Classic ‘non-denial denial’.
Rumors around Styles have been circulating for years, particularly concerning the nature of his relationship with former bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
For the record, in a 2013 interview with British GQ, Harry stated that he was ‘pretty sure’ he wasn’t bisexual. Which of course may have been a coded response implying he was homosexual…or something else altogether.
So many possibilities. Luckily, we’re in no short order of new identity monikers. Perhaps he’s merely transpolypancissexual? It’s what all the cool kids are nowadays.
Whatever his preference, I wish him luck, and continued success cranking out the mediocrity.
