In a meeting with top cable news anchors at the White House, Donald J Trump made his first public remarks on the appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel to lead the Russia investigation.
“I believe it hurts our country terribly because it shows we’re a divided, mixed-up, not-unified country,” whined our crybaby-in-chief. “And we have very important things to be doing right now, whether it’s trade deals, whether it’s military, whether it’s stopping nuclear ― all of the things that we discussed today. And I think this shows a very divided country.”
Adding, “It also happens to be a pure excuse for the Democrats having lost an election that they should have easily won because of the Electoral College being slanted so much in their way. That’s all this is”
He’s really hung up on that whole “Democrats lost an election they should have easily won” line isn’t he? He’s obviously furious that Hillary let him down, forcing him to take on a job he never had any intention or interest in winning. Well, now he’s stuck with it and he’s under special counselor Mueller’s microscope.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), made his own statement about the latest developments. Exiting a closed-door briefing with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein an unsmiling Graham said about Mueller’s probe, “It’s now considered a criminal investigation.”
