Wire

I’ve always loved their first three albums, but iTunes finally has their early singles available as MP3’s. Dot Dash is great, Our Swimmer is another one that’s a lot of fun. Thrilled to scoop up those non-LP tracks at long last.

The single version of “Outdoor Miner” is much, much better than the version on “Chairs Missing”, which, in turn, is the weakest of their albums from the late 70’s.

I would suggest “Pink Flag” as their best LP and “Blessed State” as their best track.
